Snow is a big deal here in North Carolina.  So when it snowed Friday evening, I got so excited!  I absolutely love snow.  It reminds me of how wonderfully creative our Creator is.  And it always puts a huge smile on my face. 

That night as it was snowing, I asked my wonderful husband, Doug, if we could take pictures tomorrow if there was still snow.  He surprisingly said "yes."  He must have been in a really good mood because he never wants to take pictures.  Never!  I think it's because I try to be a perfectionist while taking photographs and it quickly becomes torture for him.  I don't blame him, really.  After all, I did ask him to remove his toboggan a few times in the freezing cold and made him take off his glasses the entire time (he has transition lenses.)  But I know one day he will thank me for all the memories that we had together when we were young.
